Use arrow keys or swipe to move all tiles. When two tiles with the same number collide, they merge into a larger number. The goal is to reach 2048 or higher!

2 When does the game end?

The game ends when the board is full and no moves are possible. In Speed mode, reaching the target number means victory.

3 What's the difference between Endless and Speed mode?

Endless mode has no win condition - play until you can't move. Speed mode requires reaching a target (Easy: 1024, Normal: 2048, Hard: 4096, Hell: 8192).

4 How do I get powerups?

Earn powerups by merging high-value tiles. Thresholds vary by difficulty: Easy 256+, Normal 512+, Hard 2048. Hell mode has no powerup rewards.

5 What do the Undo, Shuffle, and Smash powerups do?

Undo: Revert to previous move. Shuffle: Randomly rearrange all tiles. Smash: Remove a specific tile. Each powerup has a max capacity of 3.

6 How do I change the language?

Click the 🌐 Language button in the menu bar and select your preferred language.

7 Is my progress saved?

Your best score is saved in browser local storage. Game state resets on page refresh, but best score persists.

8 What's the difference between grid sizes?

4x4 is classic mode. 5x5 and 6x6 offer more space but require more tiles to reach 2048, each with unique challenges.
